About MC Electronics the Audio Repair Specialists

The MC Electronics was founded by Mick Newman in 1985. His past clients include Hughes & Kettner, Engle, Eminence loudspeakers, Light and Sound Design, Monacor UK and many more. He also was responsible for the servicing and repairs of Hughes & Kettner artist support equipment with artists such as Elton John, The Stereophonics, Bon Jovi, Meatloaf etc.

Mick was a professional musician in the “eighties” playing with rock band Tobruk who were signed by EMI, recording albums in the USA and UK so he understands musician’s requirements.

MC Electronics is now run by Mick and his son Luke, who aim to provide the highest level of service at a reasonable price, unlike many specialists who charge the earth.

We repair all types of audio equipment (PA systems, DJ equipment, Hi-Fi, Musician).

We specialise in guitar amplifiers, with a particular passion for valve amplifiers. We have a large stock of “new old components” which help to retain the originality of vintage equipment when a repair is necessary. We also repair/set up/modify electric, bass and acoustic guitars.
